Helix Minimum Space Requirements - N
Precision Model Railroad N scale 1 track and 2 track helixes require the following space as shown in the table below. For 2 track helixes, use the outer radius of your helix to lookup the space required.
Precision Model Railroad helixes will fit in a circle with radius that is 1 1/2" greater than the track radius. For convenience, the minimum space listed in the table below shows this as length x width.
