August tariff update to our US customers

The new Section 338 tariffs on Canadian goods are scheduled to take effect on August 19, 2026. Although our benchwork kits comply with CUSMA / USMCA regulations, our products will be affected by this newly proposed tariff action, resulting in a 50% duty on products shipped to the United States. 

We require a 10 business day lead time to schedule and process orders before shipping.  So orders placed now (as of Aug 17th) will be subject to the August 19 tariffs at the point of shipping.  We will notify you if your order is affected.  On August 19, the applicable duty will be calculated and shown as a line item at checkout.  

If the duty rate is different from the anticipated 50% as a result of ongoing negotiations, adjustments will be made and refunds issued accordingly before shipping.  All shipments will then be delivered to you duty paid, so there will be no unexpected fees when you receive your order.

We recommend visiting our website regularly, as US tariff rates on our Canadian products change often.
